The Path of Anti-imperialist Struggle

To realize global independence it is essential for all countries and nations to adhere to independence under the unfurled banner of anti-imperialist independence.

Independence is the lifeblood and prestige of the country and nation and symbol of a sovereign state.

The countries and nations that aspire to independence and justice should reject foreign intervention and domination and forge their own destiiny along independent lines.

The fight against the imperialist and dominationist forces' policy of aggression and intervention in internal affairs must also be carried out.

It is fundamental in the anti-imperialist struggle to thwart the moves of the United States and its followers for aggression and war and safeguard global peace and security.

The peace-loving peoples around the world should not tolerate the imperialists' moves for aggression and war and defend global peace and security. President KIM IL SUNG was a gifted thinker and theoretician, outstanding leader of the independent cause who fathered the Juche idea that occupies the highest and brilliant position in the history of human thoughts and who pioneered an independent age. In oder to build a new, peaceful world a dynamic struggle should be launched to dissolve the aggressive military blocs that give rise to military confrontation and war, and dismantle aggressive overseas military bases.

President KIM IL SUNG who is recognized by the world as the founder of the great idea that regards the downtrodden and oppressed popular masses as the masters of the history. The great practical-minded man who ushered in a new era of development of human history.

I would like to express my warm congratulations on the 75th anniversary of DPRK.

It the ideal of humanity that all the countries and peoples shall achieve the common prosperity by eliminating aggressions and ears, domination and interference, exploitation and oppression on the earth while helping one another in line with independence as their essential quality. For this purpose. It is indispensable to strengthen their anti-imperialist struggles.

Only the path of anti-imperialist struggle is a path to protect the sovereignty and dignity of each nation and country as well as a genuine path to realize peace and progress in the world.

Nowadays, the world progressive people aspiring after independence and justice have been waging their struggles vigorously to smash the imperialists’ maneuvers.

The Juche idea is a revolutionary doctrine to realize independence of the people as well as a guiding principle for the anti-imperialist struggle in the contemporary world.

As clarified by the Juche idea, we are obliged to build a new society of justice upholding aloft the banner of independence in accordance with the demand of the people and the realities of our own respective countries, while relying on the strength of the broad masses of the people.

Human rights imply the sovereignty and right to independence of countries and nations, and genuine human rights are guaranteed by their politics of independence.

The progressive countries and peoples of the world should thwart the imperialists' "human rights" campaign and lay bare the criminal nature of the United Sttaes and its vassal forces that has given rise to the worst-ever refugee crisis and their cruel human rights violations.

All countries and nations that aspire to independence should preserve their Juche character and national identity; they should harbour neither expectations of nor illusions about the imperialists' crafty double-dealing tactics and their deceptive "aid".

It is imperative to fight for genuine international justice.

Progressive peoples around the world should wage a positive struggle for international justice, transcending their differences in political views, religious beliefs and level of economic and cultural development.

In order to secure genuine international justice it is important to strip away the shameless veil of "justice" worn by the forces of imperialism and domination, and to eliminate the old international order whereby injustice prevails under the cloak of "justice". Instead, a new fair and just international order must be established. Proactive efforts should be made to reject the high-handed and arbitrary actions, double standards and injustice pursued by the imperialists in a bid to tramp on the sovereignty of other countries and nations and their right to existence, and to ensure the fair settlement of international issues in such areas as the fight against terrorism, disputes and environmental protection.

International justice never arises of its own accord; it can be achieved only when the anti-imperialist independent countries are sufficiently strong. If a country is not powerful enough, it will have no voice in the international arena. It will play into the hands of those with power, unable to defend justice and conscience however honest it is and however justifiable its choice may be. The jusitice-loving, progressive countries of the world should strive to cultivate their strength on the principle of self-reliance and self-development, and in this way expedite the building of a new, independent world.

Independence is demanded by the popular masses, the makers of history and nothing can check the strength of the popular masses, who armed themselves with the independent consciousness.

The truth and eternal vitality of the Juche idea are clearly evident by the present reality in which progressive people find their path ahead in this idea, thereby courageously fighting against the high handedness and tyranny of the imperialists and making strenuous endeavors to shape the future of mankind.

Today socialist Korea is strong of the full application of the Juche idea created by President KIM IL SUNG and further enriched and developed by Comrade KIM JONG IL and Comrade KIM JONG UN is carrying Forward and applied in full operation in all parts of society. In Korea no one pins hope foreign aid .Every Korean believes that self-reliance is the way to national independence and prosperity.

The DPRK is a strong fortress of for the cause global bi independence. Korean people will surely build the powerful socialist country under the brilliant leadership of Comrade KIM JONG UN.
