Juche Korea: 75 years for Independence, Justice and Defense of Peace

Dear Chairperson,

I am very happy and honored to participate in the international Internet debate held on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

First of all, on behalf of the Organization of Afro-Asian Peoples’ Solidarity Organization, I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to the government and people of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea on the 75th anniversary of its founding.

The founding of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea by respected President Kim Il Sung was a groundbreaking event that ushered in a new era of glory for the Korean people, who had just been liberated from the colonial yoke of Japanese Imperialism.

The founding of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea was also an event that provided a strong bastion for the struggle against imperialism and neo-colonialism in the region of Northeast Asia.

Over the past 75 years, the heroic Korean people have achieved a century-old transformation that has aroused the admiration of the people of the world under the wise leadership of President Kim Il Sung, His Excellency Kim Jong Il, and His Excellency Kim Jong Un who has steadily continued the feats of previous Leaders.

The industrialization of the country achieved in a short period of time, the will and power of the people who successfully defended their independent and people-oriented socialism even in the harsh environment of the collapse of Eastern European socialism, and actual great reality of Korea where the people-centered socialism is shaking off its grandeur despite all the threats and isolation and oppression of today's imperialists, speak volumes about this.

Over the past 75 years, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea has consistently implemented a just and peace-loving foreign policy based on the idea of world independence, and has sincerely supported the struggle of the world's progressive people for independence against imperialism. In particular, the contribution of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in supporting the struggle for justice of the Arab people against the invasion of the Zionism of Israel is already well known.

The Afro-Asian Peoples’ Solidarity Organization has a long history of friendship and unity with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

The Korean government and people have always supported the work of our Organization, and our Organization has actively supported the efforts of the Korean government and people for solidarity with the people of the world and the struggle for the independent and peaceful reunification of Korea.

Our Organization, which has the basic mission of uniting the world's progressive humanity, will continue, as in the past, to support the policies and efforts of the DPRK government for the independent and peaceful reunification of the country and peace and security in Northeast Asia. And we will actively support the struggle of the Korean people to improve the people's livelihood and economic development.

I once again warmly congratulate all of you on the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
