A Shining Example for All Progressive People in this World

Dear comrades and friends oft he DPRK,

Today, we gather to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the foundation of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, a glorious and momentous occasion which should be of high significance for the further existence of a sovereign korean people. As a German I feel honored by being allowed to participate and even make an own contribution in the form of a speech dedicated to this important event.

As the leader of the european executive commitee of the International Solidarity Group with the DPRK, I can confirm from own experience, that the DPRK demonstrates real international Solidarity by deeply engaging in “peoples diplomacy“ in the form of cultural exchange with organized socialists from all over the world, aswell as pursuing diplomatic endeavors on the international state-level. Since its founding 75 years ago, it has consistently advocated for a multipolar world order, where nations, regardless of size, can coexist peacefully, free from hegemony and coercion.

It is clearly observable, that in these 75 years, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea has remained steadfast in its pursuit of a peaceful and just world order, expressing true internationalist spirit, without neglecting the necessary condition of preserving the national character in the revolution and construction. It remained loyal to their principles even in the darkest times and ensured a dignified and sovereign future for their people by remaining faithful to the path of self-reliance, which was started by eternal president KIM IL SUNG.

Namely this momentum became observable three decades ago with the fall of the bipolar hegemonic world order, when it was widely belived by many, that soon the State of Juche would desintegrate and become a part of the new globalist world order created under the lead of the US-Imperialists, but unlike other socialist states which failed not because of the social question but because of the national question, the DPRK created a socialism of national character which allowed the excellencies of the korean people's spirit to shine to the fullest extent.

Studying the historical education materials, which are even published in german language and forwarded to us by the esteemed comrades of the DPRK Embassy in Berlin, I was particularly impressed and impacted by the remarkable respectful honouring culture for the forefathers, which is intervened in the korean identity. Thus I am deeply convinced, that the legacy of those who fought valiantly for the korean liberation, may it be in war or at the workers front, lives on in the very core of the korean collective memory, so that their unwavering courage and resilience will continue to inspire them to build an even more bright future and help the Korean Nation to remain a shining example for all progressive people in this world.

The great Comrade KIM IL SUNG and Comrade KIM JONG IL will always be with us and the beloved Marshall KIM JONG UN will continue their work in highest dignity!
