Getting Closer to Peaceful Reunification

Dear comrades,

On behalf of the Pektusan Czech-Korean Friendship Society, I send warm greetings to all seminar participants. Unfortunately, for pragmatic reasons, our organization could not participate in the seminar in person, but believes that the seminar will celebrate this important anniversary with dignity.

It has been 75 years since an important milestone in the history of the Korean nation, when the Democratic People's Republic of Korea was founded, the first state of workers, peasants and working intelligentsia on the Korean Peninsula. It was primarily the merit of the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung, who was able to unite the Korean people around the Worker's Party and create a People's Democratic Republic.

During its 75 years of existence, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea has gone through great trials, especially the war with the American imperialists, the difficult period of the collapse of the world socialist bloc, natural disasters and currently the spread of covid-19. But its entire history was marked by building and construction, which did not stop even during the Arduous march. It is also because the Democratic People's Republic of Korea has been blessed with brilliant leaders, starting with great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung, through dear leader Comrade Kim Jong Il, to respected General Secretary Comrade Kim Jong Un.

Although the Korean Peninsula is still divided, we firmly believe and it is clearer than the Sun that we are getting closer to its peaceful reunification under the banner of the "three charters of national reunification" with the leadership of the respected General Secretary Comrade Kim Jong Un!

I was able to visit the DPRK five years ago for the last time, during the celebration of the 70th anniversary of its founding. It was a wonderful experience and we saw the many achievements that the Korean people were able to achieve under the leadership of the Party. Five years have passed and despite the fact that the DPRK currently has to struggle with the covid-19 disease, we also know based on the news from KCNA that the country is progressing only towards bright tomorrows. The state supports housing construction, tens of thousands of flats are being built, while in Slovakia one politician promised to build 25,000 state flats, but not a single one was actually built.

I will be happy if I can visit the beautiful land of socialism like the DPRK sometime in the future. On behalf of all the members of the Paektusan Czech-Korean Friendship Association, I wish its leadership only success in maintaining and advancing the socialist social system, its people a happy and peaceful life, and all the participants of this seminar and followers of the Juche idea a lot of health and energy in spreading Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism.
