For the celebration of the 110th Birthday Anniversary of President KIM IL SUNG
April 15, Juche 111 (2022) is the glorious and auspicious day when the 110th birthday anniversary of the great Leader Comrade KIM IL SUNG is celebrated.
His birthday, the Day of the Sun, is celebrated by the Korean people as well as by all friends and defenders of socialist Korea, Juche idea followers, antiimperialists and the peace-loving and progressive humankind.
Because of this, President KIM IL SUNG is called the Eternal Sun of Humankind.
His whole life he sacrificed for the happiness of the Korean nation and people.
He is the Heaven-sent greatest liberator who brought freedom and happiness to the Korean people.
He liberated Korea from the yoke of the brutal colonial rule of Japanese imperialism on August 15, Juche 34 (1945).
In the liberated motherland he founded the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) as the general staff of the Korean revolution on October 10 of the same year.
With the foundation of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on September 9, Juche 37 (1948) he gave to the Korean people the first free, independent and democratic state.
In the Fatherland Liberation War (Korean War, 1950-1953) he led the heroic Korean People's Army (KPA) and the Korean people to the historic victory over the US imperialist aggressors and its 15 vassal states.
The great Generalissimo KIM IL SUNG, the iron-willed ever-victorious and invincible brillant commander and strategist of Mt. Paektu, was the first military commander of the world who forced the "powerful" United States to knee.
The whole mankind celebrated and feted the Korean people's historic victory in the Fatherland Liberation War as a great victory of freedom, independence, peace and justice.
Generalissimo KIM IL SUNG won victories over two imperialist powers - Japan and the United States - in only one generation!
Since the tragic division of Korea by the US imperialists (1945), President KIM IL SUNG fought untiringly for the nation's independent and peaceful reunification.
His historic initiatives for national reunification - the Three Principles of National Reunification, the Programme for founding the Democratic Confederal Republic of Koryo (DCRK) and The Ten-Point Programme of the Great Unity of the Whole Nation for the Reunification of the Country - were proclaimed as the Three Charters of National Reunification by Chairman KIM JONG IL.
In his speech Let the North and the South Open the Way to Peace and the Reunification of the Country in a United Effort (February 20, 1992) President KIM IL SUNG said to the Delegates to the North-South High Level Negotiations from Both Sides:
"To this end, the stand of independence should be maintained above all else.
The division of our country caused by outside forces should on all accounts be ended through the efforts of our nation itself. ...........
If the north and the south are to become reconciled and achieve reunification, they should bring about great national unity, transcending the differences in ideas and systems."
Even on July 7, Juche 83 (1994) - one day before his passing away - President KIM IL SUNG gave his last instruction for national reunification with his signature "KIM IL SUNG, 1994 7. 7." (July 7, 1994). This historic last signature of his great life is engraved on the granite monument in Panmunjom.
Leading the construction of socialism in the DPRK, President KIM IL SUNG built the people's paradise. Thanks to his life-long creed The People are God, the Korean people in the DPRK enjoys a happy life with free health care, free education and free housing as well as the abolition of taxes. The happiness and wellbeing of the people was always his top priority.
The Korean people loves President KIM IL SUNG forever and call him with reverence the Sun of the Nation - symbolizing the sun who brought freedom, independence and people-centered socialism. His birthday anniversary is celebrated as the Day of the Sun.
President KIM IL SUNG worked also for global independence and world peace. The progressive humankind glorifies him as the great statesman fighting for a free and independent world and for world peace.
And the great Juche Idea fathered by him shines all over the world.
There were many great men in world history, but never a great man like President KIM IL SUNG. His achievements are immortal, and his personality was noble, human and people-loving. His love for the people and humankind was unique in the world. For this he is called the Greatest Saint of all Great Saints.
President KIM IL SUNG is immortal. The Korean people and the progressive mankind are holding him in highest esteem.
Eternal Glory to President KIM IL SUNG, the Eternal Sun of Humankind!
