The History of Mankind is the History of the Struggle of the Masses for Their Own Sovereignty
KFA Germany
THERE are only a few days that determine the fate of human history other than the day of the birth of a truly great leader. One of these days is the birth of the Great Leader Kim Jong Il, who was born on the holy mount Paektu in a time of the harshest conditions for the Korean People.
According to the Great Leader Kim Jong Il himself the history of mankind is the history of the struggle of the masses for their own sovereignty. In order to become sovereign man has not only to overcome his dependencies from nature but also achieve his social and political independence. In an age where humans achieved through industrialization and technologization the potential for overcoming the dependencies of nature, at the same time man faces the biggest threat for maintaining his own dignity and freedom. The age of imperialism as Lenin described, is the highest form of capitalism and is now for more than hundred years dominating the world and enslaving mankind.
As Kim Jong Il further points out, the masses of the people of one nation can only fight this struggle for independence and sovereignty based on the principle of self-reliance. Only with a revolutionary party serving as its spear and a leader as its spearhead can the masses be formed into an organized and organic movement that is able to overcome the dependencies and the enslavement that is going along with imperialism.
Kim Jong Il being born in the eye of the storm of the anti imperialist fight against the Japanese aggressors, here serves as an example par excellence for which characteristics a leader has to bring along in order to guide his nation. This becomes clear as this man, being raised in one of the hardest times for the Korean People takes responsibility as the supreme commander of the Korean People's Army and the chairman of the Workers Party of Korea just in a political era that is marked by the collapse of the Soviet Union and the climax of US-Imperialism and their vassals.
But without making any concessions and by systematizing the Juche Idea and maintaining and strengthening the Songun Politics he continued undeterred in constructing socialism and led the Korean People for many years in their fight against imperialism.
Especially for us as the delegates of the German KFA this is a truly great example, because we know for ourselves what it means when your country is divided by foreign forces and is being used for their imperialist interests.
The example of a patriotic leader like Kim Jong Il, who only serves the interests of his own people and maintaining the dignity and independence of his nation, like the torch of the Juche Tower shall guide us and inflame our hearts for the unconditional support of the DPRK and our common fight against any hostile forces which try to restrict the people's striving for sovereignty.
