FROM his magnificent birth until his last moments, our Supreme Leader Kim Jong Il dedicated himself to the cause of Revolution, under the banner of the glorious Juche Idea, becoming the greatest example of devotion to the motherland in hard times for the socialist construction of the DPRK.
Because he courageously fought for his children, the people of Korea, the nation flourished and strengthened it's independent-socialist path. His fatherly smile and kind gestures demonstrated his unconditional love for the future of the Unified Korea, governed by the red flag of sovereignty.
In Mount Paektu a heroine gave birth to a Son of the Revolution, a fighter, a caring Leader, an artist and a dedicated General, beneath the protection of a double rainbow. This is my beloved Father, the Supreme Leader Kim Jong Il!"
