• International E-seminar in Celebration of the 80th Birth Anniversary of General Kim Jong Il

ON  the occasion of 80th Birth Anniversary, the Day of the Bright Star, we would like to express our highest tribute and sincere respect to the  Great Leader Kim Jong Il.

The Juche idea and Songun Policy are the great ideas and it is very popular in each and every country of the world including Nepal. I am extremely happy to say that there are many Juche followers in Nepal and they want to study further more on different aspects of Juche idea and Songun Policy.

Revolutionary idea that represents an era is created and further developed by outstanding leaders.

Kimilsungism was created by President Kim Il Sung.

President Kim Il Sung discovered the truth of Juche that one's revolution can be won only by believing his people and relying on them and all problems in the revolution should be solved independently and creatively in the practical struggle of pioneering the path of the Korean revolution, and on its basis declared the creation of Juche idea, the essence of Kimilsungism in Kalun in June, Juche19(1930).

Kimilsungism was further developed in a comprehensive manner by Chairman Kim Jong Il in conformity with the requirement of the developing era.

On the basis of the comprehensive analysis and review of the 100 year-long history of the preceding theories, Chairman Kim Jong Il formulated Kimilsungism in a scientific manner and published many works such as "On the Juche Idea","On Some Problems on Education in the Juche Idea", etc., thus developing and enriching further Kimilsungism with new principles and contents that give perfect explanations to the theoretical and practical problems raised by the era.

In particular, he developed President Kim Il Sung's idea of giving importance to arms into the idea of Songun revolution, the theory of Songun politics and put forward the theory of building a thriving socialist nation and thus enhance attraction and vitality of Kimilsungism considerably.

Repected Kim Jong Un formulated the revolutionary idea of the peerlessly great men as Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and constantly developed it.

Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism is an intergral system of the idea, theory and method of Juche.

Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism has now been acclaimed by the world people as well as the people of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea as the great revolutionary ideology of our era. Today the Korean people under the Songun revolutionary leadership of great respected Marshal Kim Jong Un are building a thriving socialist country under the banner of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism.

Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism is fully consistent with the Juche idea. It is the ideology of the Juche era which is different to all previous eras and epochs. Before the Juche era history was dominated and made by the exploiters, the ruling class. However the oppressed and exploited masses such as workers in capitalist countries and the peoples of colonial and semi-colonial emerged as the makers of history.

Typical of this was the emergence of the first socialist state in the world and the anti-imperialist national liberation struggle such as the anti-Japanese armed struggle led by the Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung.

Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism is a great revolutionary program for the continuity of revolutionary leadership and socialist construction in the DPRK. In the DPRK thanks to dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un instead of denying the ideas, theories and leadership of the preceding President Kim Il Sung and Great Leader Kim Jong Il, their theories have been elevated a new higher level, Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism. Respected Marshal Kim Jong Un has vowed that there should be no concession in adhering to the revolutionary ideas of the great leader President Kim Il Sung and the great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il. Under the banner of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism the DPRK will advance along the road of independence, Songun and socialism and win victory after victory.

Great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il is the Great Leader of the Korean people and remain always the Great Leader. The contribution made by Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il will be written in the golden figures in the world history.

Deeply studying the above facts, peace loving and progressive journalists of Nepal have established "«NJA for Studying Juche Idea and Songun Policy" on the occasion of "Sun's Day", April 15, the Birth Anniversary of President Kim Il Sung on 15th April 2010 in Kathumandu to disceminate in mass-public the Juche Idea and Songun Policy. We are widely performing its activities to disceminate the Juche Idea and Songun Policy among the intellectual circles of Nepal.

We have established the "Juche Idea and Songun Policy Study Centre" also at Kalimati, Kathmandu in our own Building, where journalists and dignitaries from various Nepali walks of life gather on every Saturday between 9 to 11 a.m. and discuss on the achievements of Juche Idea and Songun Ploicy. It is widely known as "Saturday Breakfast Meeting" among the journalists of Nepal.

That is why the Juche followers in Nepal are increasing day by day in Kathumandu. Specially youngsters are interested to know more and more about the different aspects of Juche Idea and Songun Policy in our Saturday Breakfast Meeting who discuss on the achievements of Juche Idea and Songun Policy also.

'Arpan' Weekly since last 57 years is continuously publishing different articles on different aspects of DPRK specially the great achievements of President Kim Il Sung, Great Leader Kim Jong Il and Supreme Leader Marshal Kim Jong Un in each and every Friday issue in both English and Nepali languages. Myself is the Chief Editor and Publisher of Arpan Weekly and have the wide circulation in Nepal and in friendly countries of the world.

I am very extremely proud to inform that myself and my wife Subha Laxmi Sakya had the great opportunity for face to face talk and Direct interview with President Kim Il Sung in Chongjin, DPRK on 19th June 1979 which we will never forget in our lifetime.

Likewise, I also get the great opportunity to put the questions before the Great Leader President Kim Il Sung also on 29th November 1990 in Pyongyang.

It is a great honour for me to inform to all that myself has been awarded "Degree of Doctor" on the Thesis submitted by me on the subject of "«The Great Juche Idea and the DPRK". I was decorated the Certificate and medal of Degree of Doctor(Ph.D.) by His Excellency Mr. Ro Tu Chol, Deputy Prime Minister of Government of DPRK amidst a special ceremony which was held at Mansudae Supreme People's Assembly Hall in Pyongyang on 16th April 2012. I am the first Nepali Citizen who received "Degree of Doctor" from DPRK on the subject of "The Great Juche Idea and the DPRK" in Pyongyang on 16th April 2012.

We sincerely wish a good health, long life and happiness of the Supreme Leader Marshal Kim Jong Un as well as for continued progress and prosperity of the Korean people.

The Great Comrades Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il Will Always Be with Us.
