FROM Turkey, the Western fortress of Asia, we extend our greetings to Kim Jong Un, the Supreme Leader of Democratic People’s Republic of Korea which is the Eastern fortress of Asia and to the Korean nation.
Happy Shining Star Day to Korean nation.
May the shining lights of Kim Jong Il, the unforgettable and beloved leader of the Korean people, enlight the revolutionary future of Korea.
The fact that the beloved leader Kim Jong Il was born 80 years ago in a secret military camp on Paektu Mountain, amid the heat of war, is an unforgettable inspiration for the Korean people's struggle against difficulties.
The dear leader Kim Jong Il followed the path of the great leader Kim Il Sung with his works that developed Juche thought, and made theoretical contributions to the struggle for socialism.
Kim Jong Il, who also assumed the duty of Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army in 1991 and later the title of Grand Marshall, led Korea's decisive stance against imperialism, and the Korean nation to live with their head held high with the "Songun" policy, which means "military first".
The poem titled " O Korea, I Will Add Glory to Thee" written by the “peerless patriot” Kim Jong Il during his university years expresses his devotion to the homeland and the revolution, and summarizes his life.
Amid the difficult conditions of the years following the return of the USSR to capitalism, Kim Jong Il supported the great future of humanity by insisting on the path of socialism. Kim Jong Il was, a worthy artist and an art lover as well as he was the Generalissimo (Grand Marshall). Under his leadership, DPRK made a great cultural breakthrough and led art to beautify the inner world of the vast masses of the nation and ignite their struggle.
We have personally witnessed this breakthrough during our visits to Korea.
Today, under the guidance of the Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, DPRK has been standing tall against the armed threats of USA’s imperialism, encourages all humanity following the route created by the Great Leader Kim Il Sung and by deriving inspiration from Kim Jong Il.
As the Chairman of Vatan Party, my visits to Korea and especially my meetings with the Great Leader Kim Il Sung live in my mind as unforgettable memories.
The star of the Korean people will always shine.
On this important day, from Turkey, we greet the Respected Leader of the DPRK, Kim Jong Un, the leaders of the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people, with the feelings of revolutionary friendship.
