• International E-seminar in Celebration of the 80th Birth Anniversary of General Kim Jong Il

WE, the Philippines-Korea Solidarity and Friendship Society (PKSFS), join the progressive people all over the world in paying the Highest tribute to the Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il on his 80th birth anniversary on February 16, 2022.

He was born at Mt. Paektu, the sacred mountain of the revolution.

The Great Leader Kim Jong Il had devoted all his life for the prosperity of Korea, the happiness of the Korean people until his last breath.  He is also known as the People’s Leader.

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the glorious country, is his greatest patriotic legacy.

The revolutionary exploits of the Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il is the history of victory and prosperity of Korea. The Great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il is an outstanding statesman and brilliant commander who built the Republic as not only the politico-ideological power of single-minded unity but the world military power.

The invincible political and military power is the cornerstone of existence and development of the socialist state. It is the Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il's strong belief the defense of sovereignty and victorious advance of the cause of building a powerful socialist nation hinge on giving priority to building the politico-ideological and military power.

He set forth the single-hearted unity as the mainstay of the revolution and successfully achieved the unity of the Party and the revolutionary ranks.

After setting forth a lifelong task to model the whole Party and the entire society with one ideology, he ensured that all exploits of the Party and state are run with the devoted service for the people so as to rally tens of millions of service personnel and people around the Party in ideology and will, and out of moral obligation.

The young people who firmly carry forward the revolution and tradition of single-hearted unity testifies to the Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il’s wise ideology and leadership in giving foremost importance to them.

The true appearance of Juche Korea and the invincible might that cannot be found or imitated elsewhere was the fruit of the Integrated whole of the Party and the masses.

The Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il with his iron-will made every possible effort to consolidate the defense capabilities and hold fast to the force of arms to defend and glorify his country.

Korea rose up as an invincible military and dignified nuclear power, while its ideology and system were firmly defended.

To ensure that the cause of building a powerful socialist nation will vigorously advance, can be guaranteed by the invincible politico-military power the Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il built, without any deviation in the current world, which is full of high-handedness and arbitrariness of the imperialists and those who wants to dominate.

The Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il is an outstanding veteran stateman and brilliant commander who built Korea not only as the politico-ideological power of a single-minded unity but the world military power which is the cornerstone of existence and development of the socialist state.

Protecting and taking care of the people’s destiny on his responsibility was the perfection of his love for the people. He remarkably strengthened the defense capability of his country, thus firmly safeguarding the security of the people from the nuclear threat and military aggression by the US.  Raising the status of the DPRK to that of a nuclear state was a historic event that guaranteed the everlasting security of the people as well as the regional peace.

Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il’s belief was that the defense of sovereignty and victorious advance of the cause of building a powerful socialist nation hinge on putting priority to building the politico-ideological and military power. He set forth the single-hearted unity as the mainstay of the revolution and successfully realized the unity of the Party and revolutionary ranks.  He has an outstanding leadership ability which he utilized as he pushed his way through the trials of the history and turned DPRK into a genuine people-centered socialist country.

In the 1990s, when the country faced temporary hardships due to various reasons, i.e  the extreme move of the US and its followers and the natural disasters that hit the country for several consecutive years.  Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il got over the difficulties through the single-minded unity in spite of the open adverse moves of the US and its collaborators.

He led the Korean people to be strong in their belief in the victory of socialism and encouraged them to struggle to defend socialism,braving the obstacles with revolutionary spirit of self-reliance and fortitude to break the difficulties.

Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong Il unfurled a great plan for building a powerful socialist country and aroused the people to the struggle. Looking far ahead into the future to the most arduous days, he gave precedence to the introduction of CNC technology into most of the machine-building industry.

He prioritized science and technology throughout the country and kindled the flames of the industrial revolution in the new century, so as to put the overall economy of the country on a Juche-oriented and modern basis. He led the projects that demanded enormous investment and manpower like large-scale land realignment, gravitational waterway construction and construction of small and medium-sized power stations by enlisting the people’s high creative enthusiasm and unquenchable strength.

Under the wise leadership of Great Leader Kim Jong Il, the Korean people braved the trials and hardships that came their way which opened the way for building a powerful socialist country. His life as a genuine people’s leader will remain forever in the minds of the Korean people and the progressive peoples in the whole world.
