Great Leader Who Led Cause of Anti- Imperialism and Independence to Victory

ON the occasion of the 80th birth anniversary of Comrade Kim Jong Il, I am very much honored to be part of the International E-Seminar “Kim Jong Il: Eternal Incarnation of Juche Korea”on behalf of the National Committee for the study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism of Ethiopia, with my appreciation and thanks to the Secretariat of International Institute of Juche idea, the sponsor of this seminar, for the invitation extended to me.
Before to start my remarks, I would like to express highest tribute and sincere respect to Comrade Kim Jong Il.
With the passage of time, the world progressive people boundlessly respect and admire Chairman Kim Jong Il who led to victory the cause of anti-imperialism and independence.
Comrade Kim Jong Il has devoted his entire whole life for the happiness of the Korean people and the accomplishment of the cause of global independence.
As being praised by the world progressive people, Chairman Kim Jong Il was an outstanding revolutionary and also a political elder statesman of the cause of anti-imperialism and independence.
History records lots of reputed great persons who made contribution to the popular masses’ class and national liberation and human civilization.
However, history records no one but Chairman Kim Jong Il who made epoch-making exploits for mankind.
Dynamic struggle for anti-imperialism and independence is an important requirement to achieve free development and prosperity of countries against the imperialist aggression and intervention made under the signboards of “democracy,” “anti-terrorism,” “human rights” protection.
Chairman Kim Jong Il has held high the red flag of revolution associated with the whole life of President Kim Il Sung as an eternal banner of human cause of independence.
Cherishing firm faith in and iron will of victory of the cause of socialism, the cause of anti-imperialism and independence, Chairman Kim Jong Il conducted energetic ideological and theoretical activities to achieve great ideological and theoretical feats.
when the world socialist movement in the end of the 20th century suffered from unexpected trials and difficulties, Chairman Kim Jong Il made public in succession the historic works including the “Socialism Is a Science”, “Abuses of Socialism Are Intolerable” that dealt a heavy blow to the criminal moves of imperialists and reactionaries of history and casted a light on the world which was in darkness.
Every classic work made public by Chairman Kim Jong Il was the most powerful bomb of the revolution heavily destroying the camp of the enemy which resort to lie, slander and vicious sophism and the source of strength that gave fresh energy and encouragement to the camp of socialism that was collapsed.
With an iron will to vitalize and bring about a new upsurge to the world socialist movement which was suffering from pains caused by temporary crisis, Chairman Kim Jong Il put his heart and soul into the movement for rebuilding socialism.
Thanks to the distinguished leadership of Chairman Kim Jong Il, the imperialists’ piecemeal- defeat strategy to obliterating the world socialist movement was ruined and the world socialist movement could readjust its rank and pave a new path for a fresh advance.
Today, the image of socialist Korea, that frustrates every challenge and disturbance of imperialists demonstrating its might of being a power of independence, the nuclear power, gives the big faith and encouragement to us all and accelerates dynamically the people’s cause of anti- imperialism and independence.
His immortal exploits will shine forever with the history of the struggle of world progressive people for anti-imperialist independence and peace.
Chairman Kim Jong Il, who provided a banner for the development of the socialist movement and the victory of the cause of independence against imperialism and made gigantic contributions to the building of a new independent world and the cause of global peace, will always live as the eternal sun of humankind.
African people will never forget Chairman Kim Jong Il’s immortal exploits recorded in the history of the liberation struggle of colonial nations and the building of new society on their continent.
I would have an expectation that Korean people will achieve significant success in its struggle for implementing the decision made at the 8th Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea under the wise leadership of H.E.Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the WPK.
