Notification from the Secretariat of Organizing Committee of the International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mt. Paektu (OCIFPGPP)

Dear members of friendship and solidarity organizations with the Korean people, and members of International Democratic Organizations,
Dear friends,
The world's progressive humankind, in this year 2022, shall celebrate the 110th birthday of President Kim Il Sung, the 80th birthday of Leader Kim Jong Il and the 10th anniversary of having Comrade Kim Jong Un, president of the State Affairs of the DPR Korea into the highest post of the Party and the State of Korea – the meaningful anniversaries associated with the great leaders of the Korean people.
The Organizing Committee of the International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mt. Paektu (OCIFPGPP) held its consultative meeting as ZOOM event with participation of many progressive figures from various countries around the world on January 7th, 2022, and discussed issues to organize celebration activities to meaningfully adorn the most auspicious national holidays of the Korean people mentioned above as the holidays common to the humanity, thus issuing the official statement.
Secretariat of the OCIFPGPP, upon the full authorization, has the honour to forward this letter to friends of Korea in various countries around the world to notify about the organization of International E-seminar and E-Photo Exhibition, which will be held on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star, the birth anniversary of Leader Kim Jong Il, in February, 2022.
1. According to the decision of OCIFPGPP, International E-seminar "Kim Jong Il: Eternal Incarnation of Juche Korea" and Online Photo Exhibition "Mount Paektu" will be organized in celebration of the 80th birth anniversary of Leader Kim Jong Il.
2. International online events in celebration of the Day of the Shining Star shall be hosted through OCIFPGPP official website, www.mountpaektufestival.org, and duration of E-seminar will be from 14-20 February, 2022, and photo exhibition from 14-28 February, 2022.
3. Every one wishes to participate in the International E-seminar is welcomed to submit their written presentations to Mr. Teguh Santosa (mailto: mountpaektufestival@gmail.com), an honorable member of OCIFPGPP, and a host of this seminar. Presentations will be accepted from the day this notice is distributed till February 19th.
4. All the information related to international events hosted by OCIFPGPP this year shall remain on its website for free access even after the events. In the meantime, extra notices would be circulated to recipient of this letter in case there raise the additional issues.
The OCIFPGPP Secretariat expresses its confidence that International E-seminar and Photo Exhibition will be serve as a meaningful opportunity to highly laud the great revolutionary activities and outstanding exploits of the Great Persons of Mt. Paektu accumulated for the Korean revolution and the global cause of independence as well as actively supporting and inspiring the Korean people in their just struggle.
At the same time, it very much look forward to active participation and support of friends of the Korean people around the world.
