Respected Your Excellency,

We, with common aspiration and desire to glorify the year 2022 – a year in which we mark the 110th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung, the 80th birth anniversary of Leader Kim Jong Il, and the 10th anniversary of having Your Excellency in the highest post of the Party and the State of the DPRK – as an auspicious year for progressive humankind, had a consultative meeting of the leading members of the Organizing Committee of the International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mt. Paektu.

Demonstrated once again in the consultative meeting was that it becomes more fervent, with the passage of time, the reverence of progressive humankind toward the great leaders of the Korean people, who have made immortal contributions to accomplishment of the independent cause of humanity with their prominent ideology and theory, and noble virtue; and their aspiration and desire to celebrate the Day of the Sun and the Day of the Shining Star, birthdays of the great leaders, in splendor together with the Korean people.

We, as discussed and decided in the consultative meeting, will exert all our efforts to conduct the celebration activities this year meaningfully and magnificently on a global scale, including international events to be held under the auspices of the Organizing Committee of International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mt. Paektu (OCIFPGPP).

Now the world is following closely with a great sensation and admiration the reality of the DPRK, a country where the ideas and cause of President Kim Il Sung and Leader Kim Jong Il are comprehensively carried forward and developed by Your Excellency.

The marvelous achievements that the DPRK made for the last 10 years in all spheres of politics, economy, culture, military affairs and external relations clearly testify to the validity and vitality of "The People Are God", single-minded unity and self-reliance – ideals which are constantly being embodied in the DPRK.

Noble credit for the consecutive miraculous events in the DPRK, despite the acute social instability in many other countries and regions around the world, goes to Your Excellency's farsightedness, leadership ability and devoted efforts for the sake of the people.

We remain confident that as Your Excellency is with us, the people-centered socialism of the Korean style, the ideal society of humankind, will emerge ever-victorious while the cause of global independence continues advancing even more dynamically.

The OCIFPGPP will fulfill its mission and duty to immortalize and glorify the great revolutionary activities and exploits of President Kim Il Sung and Leader Kim Jong Il, and render positive support to and solidarity with the Korean people in their just cause to build a thriving socialist nation.

Last but not least, we sincerely wish respected Your Excellency good health and more successes in your responsible work to bring about a fresh and comprehensive development of the DPRK.
