Video: DPRK 3rd Enlarged Meeting of Political Bureau of 8th CC, WPK held
The Third Enlarged Meeting of the Political Bureau of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea was held at the headquarters building of the Party Central Committee on September 2 at the time when the entire people across the country are dynamically advancing to attain the first-year goals for implementing the decisions of the Party Congress, displaying their great strenuous spirit and fighting capacity under the guidance of the great Party.
Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, was present at the meeting.
The Political Bureau of the Party Central Committee deliberated the agenda items presented and decided on them with unanimous approval.
The enlarged meeting of the Political Bureau importantly studied and discussed the issue on carrying through the land administration policy of the Party, the issue on taking more perfect anti-epidemic measures in the daily-worsening condition of the worldwide health crisis, the issue on increasing the production of consumer goods and the issue on concluding this year's farming properly.
Kim Jong Un first analyzed and summed up the nationwide land administration in detail and indicated tasks and ways to decisively improve the land management by enhancing the role of the provinces, cities and counties.
The provincial, city and county Party organizations and government bodies should have a correct understanding of the importance, urgency and demand of the Party Central Committee for the land management at present and turn out to implement the Party's policy on land administration.
It is, first of all, important to keep the viewpoint and stand of regarding the land management as the most preferential main task in implementing the economic policy of the Party and concentrating efforts on it. It is pressing to practically remove dangerous factors, the source of hindering socialist construction at present.
Now that the disastrous weather phenomenon gets serious worldwide and its danger is cropping up in our country, too, the viewpoint and stand of approaching the land management are directly related to the attitude of safeguarding the Party and the revolution and the attitude of loving the state and the people. The leading officials of the provinces, cities and counties should pay primary attention to it, bearing in mind that they cannot expect a success in any work apart from the land administration.
The provincial, city and county Party organizations and government organs should take future practical measures to decisively improve the land management and correctly lay out action plans.
Kim Jong Un touched in detail on strengthening the material and technical foundations to powerfully push ahead with the gigantic nature-remaking projects, taking perfect measures for crisis control to minimize the natural disasters including damages by flood and typhoon and following up the legal control. He also stressed the need for the leading officials of the provinces, cities and counties to lay out concrete plans on the land management in their regions with full responsibility for it and command them.
He said that when mobilizing the strength of the single-minded people and when the officials, the leading personnel of the revolution, discharge their responsibility and duty, we can do anything, and called upon all to make strenuous efforts to bring about a radical change in implementing the Party's policy on land administration.
